How to use 315-2DP Scada Network?

I have a problem, because i need to comunicate my PLC 315-2DP to a PC like a Scada System, you know, some variables and build a database in the computer ... but i don't know how to do this, i don't know if i need something extra in the PLC. or something like that. So it would be excelent if someone of you guys can give me an idea to work with it. Thanks in advance

How this will communicate with PLC (profibus, MPI, ethernet). You must start what kind of hardware you have and which is his possibilities for communication with SCADA system. Give us more details about your system in the other way this question is very "big" and you'll receive a lot information that is not so good and useful in some case. regards

Ok, this is the problem: We have already the program runing with the 315-2DP and we want to take out some variables of the program and send it via network (could be OPC, Ethernet, etc) to a PC, and storage this variables like a report... As you can see, i am new using networks. So we have our PLC 315-2 DP, and our HMI TP 277 10" Touch. Some peopletold me that i can connect directly by the HMI and some people told me that it must be via PLC and some kind of Module of comunication... What do you think? you got any idea to guide me throw this problem? Thanks a lot

How do you configure a connection between WinCC flexible Runtime (PC or Panel) and a SIMATIC S7-300 / S7-400 via Industrial Ethernet? Look there and if you have more question we can continue discussion. About archiving of variables you can use MMC of panel. regards
