How to use analog output of Sinamics V20 (mode Cn002 Control from Terminal)

Hello everyone,

I am working with Sinamics V20 with mode Cn0002 (Control from Terminal). Following the manual, I connect A0+ (4) and A0-(5) to Analog terminal to read output frequency. However, when I run my application, PLC only read output frequency from A0+ A0- when I OFF. When I ON V20 the values of output frequency is always 0.

 Yes, I do. I set my AI module is current 2 wires transducer 0-20mA mode. It only get data (value not zero) when I set OFF to V20. When I set ON to V20 and motor start to run I didn't get frequency value form AO of V20

 I attached my scaling network in PLC. When I monitor the raw value (Value of IW3), it always be zero when motor is ON.

Also, I attached my AI module configuration and my connection diagram

Consider using NORM_X then SCALE in your program.

If you are using s7-1200/1500, NORM_X, and SCALE_X are the best ways to scale values.  For s7-300/400, SCALE can work provided you can get the values to work properly.

If the v20 uses the same scaling as the g120/s120 (and older Siemens drives), the setpoint values sent to the drive are ranged -100% to +100% as -16384 to +16384.

If you are sending 0-50, the motor is probably trying and failing to run at (50 / 16384 * reference speed), or 0.3% of full speed set is p2000 (typically).
