how to use SFC12 to disconnect the device from profinet

vinparadise Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	hello everyone, I want to disconnect the IM153 from profinet by means of SFC12, soI putthe diagnostic address of IM153to the parameter LADDRof SFC12, unfortunately, the value W#16#8090 which is returned from RET_VAL means the diagnostic address is invalid. I am eager to know whether SFC12 can be used in profinet? If it does, how to use it? But it is said that SFC12 can be used in profinet IO device in the online help of STEP 7 V5.4. thank you!!

Thank you Best regards J_Bell hi,J_Bell the other try is done today by PLCSIM, but the result is the same as before. address 16#7F4 and 16#7F3 are written at parameter LADDR at SFC12 in turn, but the RET_VAL also is 16#8090. the related address of desired profinet IO device which is disconnected in the attachment. PLC CPU: CPU 315-2 PN/DP, fm: V2.6 the desired profinet IO device which is disconnected is IM153-4PN thank you for the help Attachment profinet_sfc12.jpg (583 Downloads)

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, well, the CPU you use should be able to use the SFC 12 if the CPU is also configured in that version. The Device, if it is the latest version, should do that too. The PLCSIM should not be able, I think, to handle this function. I am a bit surprised about this. Sadly I do not have the configuration to test this here. I just wonder one additional thing, did you use the GSD or the S7-Meta-Knowledge to configure the Device? Maybe it is worth to try to contact the Customer Support to figure some more out about this. Best regards J_Bell

vinparadise Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	thank you all the same i am also surprised about that. becausethis functioncan beused in profibus DP without any problemsby the interface MPI/DP on CPU, even thoughby means ofsimulationin PLCSIM. on the other hand, all the tries fail in profinet by the interface PN-IO. OK, maybe i should call the CS for the solution.
