p83ot Posts: 22 Rating: (1)	To view a pdf or excel or whatever file... you should first open the application like excel in the runtime. Go to the graphic designer and you can place a button somewhere on the screen. Now you go to the 'dynamic Wizard'. If this toolbar is not open: (view -->toolbars --> dynamic wizard). With the button selected you double click on 'start another application' in the dynamic wizard and follow the steps where u can browse to your application you want to open. Click finish and there would be an C-script on that button when you press the mouse. If the application has been opened in runtime... you can open whatever file you like :) hope that helped you... grtz!

The first you must define the path to acrobat or other programm, the second is path to your document. ProgramExecute (C:\\Program Files\\Adobe\\Reader 8.0\\Reader\\AcroRd32.exe C:\\WINCC_MAN.pdf)
