Hi! How can i run a batch file from a script in Unified. ?

Basically i need to copy a file once every day for backup. This is easily done with a .bat file, but how do i trigger this .bat file execution?

I suggest to create a function call at the runtime start which opens the Windows commandline in the background. And there you could perform the start of your batch-file.

Make a javascript script in you Unified project, and by this you can start your Batch file :)

Line for starting batch file:

HMIRuntime.Device.SysFct.StartProgram("C:\\YourFolder\\YourBatFile.bat","",1,false,undefined);

For calling your script once per day, you can use Scheduled Tasks :)

Were you able to get this working? I tried to use a shell file instead of bat but have had no luck. Any thing helps. Thank you

Has anyone managed to get this working in V19?

I folowed the instructions for V18 but does not work in V19.
