HResult Error at WinCC SP4

Maliok Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi Expert [:)], I have problem with WinCC Sp4. I have install WinCC Sp4 + SQL Server 2000 SP4 + Ms. Hotfix + Ms Windows XP SP 2. Problem: I cannot create a new project. The Error Message is HResult Error, 0x80046127 : (null). Could You Help me to solve this problem. Thanks, Maliok

I Install PCS 7 System (With WinCC Sp3 + SQLServer 2000 SP3) --> No Problem. 2.I Uninstall PCS7 System --> No Problem. 3.I InstallWinCC Sp3, SQL Server 2000 SP3, Step 7, PLC Sim --> No Problem. 4. I Uninstal (WinCC Sp3 + SQL Server 2000 SP3). 5. I Install Industrial Application Server 2.1 + SQL Server SP3a (with not default directory) (For The project) --> No Problem. 6. I Install WinCC SP3 + SQL Server 2000 SP3 (With default directory) --> No Problem. 7.OpenExisting Project WinCC --> Hresult Error, 0x80046127 : (null) 8. I Uninstall IAS 2.1 and WinCC SP3 (with database) and Clean Regedit (WinCC Folder). 9. I Install WinCC Sp3 + SQL Server 2000 SP3 (With default directory) --> No Problem. 10. OpenExisting Project WinCC --> Problem With the same message above. 11. Create New Project --> Problem With the same message above. 12. I Uninstall WinCC Sp3 + SQL Server 2000 SP3 and Clean Regedit (WinCC Folder). 13. I Install WinCC SP4 + SQL Server 2000 SP4 (With Default Directory). 14. Create New Project --> Problem With the same message above. Herewith, I give the Citamis.str file. Thanks for the support Attachment Citamis.zip (395 Downloads)

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi, in my experience it is much faster/easier to format the harddisk and install Windows/WinCC again. I guess, that you´ve stillsome rests of your former installation on your PC. Unfortunately I don´t have a tool for cleaning the registry. nemo

Thanks Hi Maliok, I would try downloading the drivers necessary before formating. Is your HD partitioned? If so, you can simply download all drivers and store them in d:, for instance, to format c:. Here we use AIDA to find out which drivers are needed. Also once the formating is done, we create an image of the clean windows + drivers installation, so we can recover ir quickly whenever needed.
