HSC 1214 AC/DC/RLY

I am using Sick DF 60 programmable encoder to work with A/B count input the problem is it is not counting correctly it is only able to count to some speed although I am using 100KHz input . Encoder is programmed to give 360 PPR motor RPM 1400

1400/60= 23.3x360=8388  8.3KHz x2=16.6KHz

(if quadruple 8.3x4 =33.2KHz)  please correct if I am wrong but 100KHz counter should be able to comply with this value ,in TIA V13  it is necessary to adjust minimum filter of the digital inputs to work with HSC how do I calculate this . is it  1/16776 =0.0005  ,50 microsecond

Try the lowest filter setting possible for your firmware version and  see what's happening.

Please post your sick's model number or datasheet to have a look at it. The pulses may be to short  for your digital inputs to pick them up.

Thank you for your reply , after posting this trend I went through settings and hardware configuration

I have found what I haven't seen before that the 24 com cable that is providing supply to encoder it is not connected to the com for input on the plc when I corrected this everything is ideal.
