Hello, I have an IM 151-8 CPU PN/DP (6ES7151-8AB01-0AB0) and 1 Count 24V/100kHz (6ES7138-4DA04-0AB0). I configured the hsc card for continuous rotary speed measuring. I am using Tia Portal Professional V13 Updt6. In the technology objects I cannot find the "Counting and measuring object". Do I need this to read the speed, or in the input address of the HSC card I find the speed?

Hello Iosif Measured value ( Speed / Frequency / Count ) should be available in Byte 8-11 of the Input area of the module. Pl see the attached extract from the Manual . Full manual can be downloaded from here : https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/in/en/view/45977588/18802462987 Hope this helps Cheers Navnag I AttachmentET200s_Counter_Module.pdf (172 Downloads) |

Hello Iosif First of all my apologies for getting your name wrong. I hope I am correct this time. With 8 Bytes address area, the addressing is as follows : Byte 0-3 : Count Value / Meaured Value Byte 4-7 : Status Bits Please see an example here : https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/in/en/view/87560033 The Example is for STEP7 V5.x, however same concept should work in TIA also. Hope this helps Cheers Navnag
