AHMED ZAKI Regular Member Joined: 3/25/2012 Last visit: 6/7/2022 Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I want to make hsc using simatic manager(without hardware till now),i use cpu312 with count module and use SFB47 in the software,i read the example in this forum for high speed counter, but acually, no counting done( i do the configuration as in the example), I notice that there aren't phisical input of the couning module used in the SFB block ??!!! Ihope help soon, best regards, try to do this first to make sure you are getting a value from the hard input on vat table piw768 or pid 768 if you are getting a value that is, then there is an issue with the code(SFB47), If not there is an issue with the real physical connection of the counter or the hardware config. setup.

Somewhere inside the block (SFB47) there should be something like this PIW #Laddr or PID # Laddr normally siemens like to move inputs to temp variables inside their locked blocks or any blocks L #Laddr T #temp L PIW #temp or PID #temp //depends whats the input if its a word or dword

You may need configure counter (continuous count, etc.) and some counters may require software gate to be enabled. Regards Piotr
