HW config compile issue with safty 5.4

pigroplc Bronze Member Joined: 4/3/2008 Last visit: 8/17/2023 Posts: 382 Rating: (15)	I'm facing this condition: I have a lot of machines all over the world with 315F-2DPand ET200M with safety module: 6ES7 153-1AA03-0XB0 profibus interface 6ES7 326-1BK00-0AB0 safe input 6ES7 326-2BF01-0AB0 safe output compiled with S7 Distributed Safety V5.3 and I never had problems downloading the hardware configuration. Step7 V5.4 SP3 released used. Now I've been upgrated to S7 Distributed Safety V5.4 SP4 and I can't compile again due to the following errorr: ======================================================================= Save and Compile (1129:2104):The F module 6ES7 326-2BF01-0AB0 [bus node address 6] needs a redundant IM 153-2 as head module. Save and Compile (1129:2104):The F module 6ES7 326-1BK00-0AB0 [bus node address 6] needs a redundant IM 153-2 as head module. Save and Compile (1230:3000):The system data could not be recreated because the configuration is inconsistent. ======================================================================= Now for the new equipment there is no problem due to the new interface ordered, but for the old machine requiring changes I have to downgrade the S7 Distributed Safety to V5.3 and in the same PC I have to configure the new interface with S7 Distributed Safety V5.4 SP4. it there anybody having a smarter idea? I don't want to keep of updating/downgrating software or turn around the world with a couple of PC depending on the IM153......... thanks pigroplc
