Hello, 

I'm trying to add cp343-1 lean v3.1 to HW configuration of CPU 316-2DP for communicating with PC station. I 'm using step7 v5.5 sp4, so i tried to update cp343-1 lean firmware but i can't find v3.1 only v3.0. so, when I added cp and load hw configuration, then I find this error in attachment. 

this error could be caused by the difference of firmware version(v3.0 / v3.1)?

how can I solve this problem?

my cpu316-2dp  was with the oldest FW-version v1.0, I'm trying to update HW but I can't find another version of cpu 316-2dp as you see in attachment.

so, how can i install hw update?

Try to put, if you could, the CP after the CPU.  I usually put the CP there and it works...

thank you for helping, in HW configuration there is 3 cp (AS-I Maitre) after the DI module and it's working with no problem. but I will try your suggest next time because now I start machine for need of production.

generally, look to your module documentation where required range/slot position on rack is recommended.

 I explored all documentation based on the CD of cp343-1 lean, and there is no requirements for position on rak "Slots 4 to 11 are permitted for the CP in racks 0 to 3". Please if you know right information tell me, if not don't mark my topic as solved.
