i can't Create a faceplate with my Wincc TIA Portal Advanced V12 SP1

K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello, with WinCC Advanced you can only create/use faceplates for Panels andRuntime Advanced. Would make no sense to choose between runtime professional and panels/Runtime Advanced. K!ke

K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello abosama, There are different devices on which your wincc system can run in the end: Panels, PC with Runtime Advanced and PC with Runtime Professional. Depending on this device you need a specific version of WinCC (TIA Portal). If your device will be a Runtime Advanced or a Panel you have the right version of TIA Portal. If your device will be a Runtime Professional system you'll need WinCC Professional. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/99684510 If you just want to create faceplates for a Runtime Advanced system or a panel you have the right version and you can create faceplates. Just click "OK" in the dialogue of the first picture. K!ke

abosama Advanced Member Joined: 7/15/2009 Last visit: 11/26/2024 Posts: 30 Rating: (0)	Good Morning, first i would like to send you my installation Siemens package rev as in attached, to know what revision i have, For creating faceplate I allready try to make an application in my project by click on a Graphic Pump to open small faceplate window to operate the pump Auto/Man and View Status, i follow basics steps thru this youtube vedio (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dANDrtwwD74) , but when i operate the advanced Runtime screen then click on my pump i have nothing , and search for Faceplate Doc in Wincc TIA portal to know what is the problem then i see this different windows which i uploaded up before, And then I felt a doubt if i have the wrong software.... so i wish if you can put me on the Right way ??
