i can't edit C-script at RT station (currently not Available)

When i open the Graphic Designer (at runtime PC) and try to write a c-action a message apear that the server is currently not available. when i do that in my pc everything works fine. The Runtime PC allows me to write vbs-action, but not C-action... Any help will be great. Attachment C-action message.JPG (335 Downloads)

The Runtime PC allows me to write vbs-action, but not C-action... ... This is normal behavior. You should change computer name in WinCC explorer to your PC name, close and open WinCC explorer and try editing the C-action and it will work. For some reason the VB editor does not check this! Different programmers I guess! Regards

Hi, On your office PC, the computer name in WinCC explorer = Name of your Office PC. On runtime PC, computer name in WinCC explorer = Name of runtime PC. So, each time you edit C actions on a different PC, you need to change the computer name in WinCC explorer to match the name of the actual (physical) computer. Hope it's clear now. Regards, Phantom
