I can't switch from KTP400 Basic to MTP400 Unified Basic

Hello everyone,

I am using tia portal v19 and i want to switch from device KTP400 Basic to device MTP400 Unified Basic. But as you can see in picture below i don't have option to select any of Unified Basic panels because they are not shown in menu on the right side, but if I create new HMI i have option to select MTP400 unified basic panel (second picture). 

Does anybody has same problem or does anybody know how to make it? Or is it even possible to switch between these two panels?

 Hello,

First you have to convert your project to any comfort panel.

Then you should use tool "Data2Unified Add-in" from this link: Data2Unified Add-in

The generated file should be used by WinCC Unified. So you should have WinCC Unified to work with Unified Panels..

 Yes, you have to switch from basic to comfort first.

How to do? Just change device by right click on device (HMI) in device configuration menu and follow instructions appearing to you.

Using this version "Conversion of SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels to SIMATIC HMI Unified Basic Panels" is supported.

Also, the above link has documentation and video on how to use the Data2Unified Add-in.
