i cannot find firmware cp 342-5 version v5.2 on the internet help?

New-Einstein Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	i cannot find firmware cp 342-5 version v5.2 on the internet help? i want to do a simple digital I/O with profibus-DP anwith cpu314-IFM V1.1{6ES7 314-5AE03-0AB0} , cp 342-5 v5.2 {6GK7 342-5DA02-0XE0},ET200S {IM151-1 standard} , but LED "SF" and "BUSF" on cp is on i think it accosiated tocp version that thein simatic configured as v5.0 but the cp version is v5.2 andi attach project too see it complete. please guide me thanks. The newest version is also working with an older CP-version from STEP7 Hardware configuration. Firmware V5.7 for CP 342-5 / CP 342-5 FO

New-Einstein Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello thanks for your guide dear late . but i have some problem. on my CP write V5.2 and my simatic manager is V5.1 with service pack4 and in this simatic version in section of hardware i have CP version V5.0 , then i want to update it toV5.2 but i think on yourguide that download firmware V5.7 on the CP with wizard upload firmware , then when iselect (PC Adapter (PROFIBUS)) for interface between PC and CPthen LED of PC Adapter is turn off . version of PC Adapter iv V5.1 and serial number is 6ES7 972-0CA23-0XA . [ pin 7 DP socket of CP ] it is for 24 volt power supply for output . I check it but there is no voltage on this pin is it normal ? I think CP have been damage! Is it correct? Thanks for your attention Be successful

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello New-Einstein, are you sure that you have the MPI Adaptor with the FWL, for Firmware load, function? I doubt it, I think only a CP 5X1X is able to deliver the CP Firmware to a PROFIBUS CP. Best regards J_Bell

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear New-Einstein, actually this configuration should not be a big thing. Let us see: I wonder how did you configure the DP Master System? (Where did you take the DP Slave from in the HW Catalouge?) Did you check the special diagnostics of the CP 342-5? What do you see if you look at the DP_SEND / DP_RECV Functions in your PLC program? The Pin 7 of the PROFIBUS Plug does not provide the 24 V DC Supply because this is not neededon PROFIBUS usually. I only know the CPU MPI Interface and the PROFIBUS RS 485 PG Interface that provides this Power. The PROFIBUS does not do that, by default. I hope we will find a solution. Best regards J_Bell
