I cant modify/delete a file while in "Server View"

I've been working on a project with a S7-1500 CPU and a WInCC Unified RT PC Station in TIA Portal V19 and encountered this problem multiple times. I'm working on a project server / multiuser server and have experienced this problem particularly when working in "Server View". Last time this error occurred I went to modify the mergeResult file myself on the listed filepath after receiving the error. I could not modify/delete the file as it was open in Simens.Automation.Portal. It seemed that TIA was locking the file itself. I had to discard the changes in the server view, and reopen the server view before I could compile again, resulting in lost work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
