Hllo gustav; Have a look at this application example: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/fr/en/view/109478798 The error comes because the I-device does not receive information and data from the IO-Controller. One way to counter the fault is to load OB 86 and OB 83 to the I-device program, as shpwn in the following extract from the mentioned link. The communication LEDs (BF) will light up continuously to warn you something is not right in the configuration, but the I-device should remain active. Tell us if it helps. If for some reason the I-device still refuses to come on, open the diagnostic buffer to see what the CPU is complaining about. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
