hi Koenraad, the I-Device is connected to the IO-Controller, is it? so BF and SF is not on. Do you have the Profinet-System-manual, where the I-Device-functionality is described? Chapter 4.8 SIMATIC PROFINET System DescriptionTry to use Inputs and Outputs inside the process-image. hope this helps, regards, |

Hi MopS04, Yes i have used this manual to configure the PLC's. I created the configuration on one controller and then i went to the I-device Tab and created a new transfer area. Then I created the GSD and brought that in into the hardware config of my other PLC. I had to adjust the device name of that GSD to make the bus fault go away. But now I still can not send over data as shown in the manual. The transfer area type is Application. I can not chose IO transfer area on this PLC. I have added a screenshot of my hardware config in the Master controller. What does it mean when my addresses are in Cursive? On both PLC's i assume that the Input address is 256 (shown in screen shot) So i had the following on the I device PLC: A M0.0 This should mean that I256.0 is one on the master controller right? (according to manual...) Thanks for all the help! |
