I didn't find the Safety CPU 6ES7 317-6TF14-0AB0 in the hardware catalog on Step 7 V11

This programming package is just for Step 7 V5.4 SP5?, in Step 7 V11 exist some package like this? i also checked in the hardware catalog of Step 7 V5.4 SP5 and it doesn't appear, i upgraded and nothing. Thanks |

You need to install aditional software package which is mentioned in my post before. It is not Step7 only. And Technology CPU is not available yet in TIA portal. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

You need STEP 7 V5.5 and S7-Technology to be able to program this CPU. (After you installed it, you have to select the "S7-Technology" profile in HW Config) If you want to use the Safety functions of this CPU,you need additional SIMATIC Distributed Safety. See Chapter 2.4 for theS7-Technology manual for more details. |
