i do not have the communication PC to S7 400 PLC

myhay_ene Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	hello, i have a PC with an application in wincc. i installed all programs: sql server for wincc, the software for networking, wincc v6, the communication between PC and S7 400 PLC is on ethernet when i coupling the pc with PLC, i do not have the communication, i set the IP , but i do not have any message about this, on the network connection i show me "local area connection", but i don`t receive or sent any packets. if can help me someone about this problem how can i check? or i need another programs? thank you in advanced, best regards mihai ene

First the IP adress must be in the same range, only the last 3 digits can be different. Can you ping the PLC? Simatic net installed ? Check under the Tab Tools-- status of Driver connections.
