I have a AK1703 and I want to communicate Sinamics s120 (VFD) through profibus communication

I have toolbox II to configure the same and i tried to but without success. I require a GSD file for SM2545 to configure the hardware and the CP i use is CP2017. Also tell me about SYCON please. Regards, Archie Hello rchie You can download the GSD Files for G120 from the following link : SINAMICS G120: PROFIBUS GSD files Always use the GSD file that matches your Control Unit (CU) type or order number – even if you are currently not using all of the Control Unit functions. The GSD FIles have all the functions required for Drive Operation / Monitoring from a Profibus Master. You will have to do the matching settings in the Drive also using Drive Starter ( e.g. Profibus address , Communication Profile etc.. ) Hope this helps Cheers Navnag
