jean.barp Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi I have a tag from my PLC and I want to put it as an input in the IO field, but I'm not finding it in the tag properties where it limits the insertion of the value, can you explain to me how to find it? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from WinCC Unified V17, max/min limitation on IO field.

rdoliveira Gold Expert Joined: 4/26/2012 Last visit: 12/10/2024 Posts: 1566 Rating: (170)	Hello, welcome to the forum. If your TAG is a Byte, it will not be possible. In an INT for example, you can place limits on the tag. What is the data type of your tag? good luck.

Posts: 21 Rating: (2)	Hello, I think there is no built-in-feature - regarding IO-Field-Limiting: you could insert a script for the Process Value-Change-Event - whenever the values change you can compare it with a limit and output a message to the user. Other way would be the Event "Input finished" - check the value and limit it to your desired limit. Best regards, Timm

If you use the single Tag (part of the Array) you can define the limits in the Tag settings in Unified. Bye Murof
