I need archive a treating variable with an action in the tag Logging

GAP Posts: 56 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a small problem, I need to archive a variable, but I need treating the value first (ex. archive=variable*34.6354+74.2339). I Know that in the Tag Logging is an option to use an action for things like this. I made a function in ansi c but it doesn't work me,I do'nt Know if the function should return the value to archived, or to pass the value to the variable that is archived. I wait that they help me, Thank you

You need to create a tag (ArchiveTag) and include it in Tag Logging. Then, with following statement (in action) you can acheive what you want: SetTagDouble("ArchiveTag", (((GetTagDouble("VariableTag"))34.6354) + 74.2339))** There are many ways of doing this and above is one example. In my opinion it is better to do these calculations in the PLC and just archive the tag in WinCC.

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Can you post your action (screenshot or export)? I tested and it works good. Check if quality of your "ArchiveTag" is ok when the runtime is active!
