Hello, You do not specify to what interface of the S5-PLC you want to connect the PC. Let us assume it is on the programming interface. With the exception of older programmig units like PG685, PG7xx, modern PCs do not have TTY interfaces (but only RS232). You needa convertercable making the conversion RS232/TTY. The pin assignment for the PC converter (MLFB 6ES5 734-1BD20) is displayed in the in the attached document figure of the following FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/28284967. |
