I need to monitor a Redundant system (2XCPU414H-4) from two separate PC (WinCC RT)

Dear Danielle, Can you explain in detail this ? /tf/WW/en/Posts/16390 "hi ionut.b, your idea to replicate the external wincc tags with wincc option redundancy is very good, but it is not possible!!!!!!! WinCC (since WinCC V6.2)provides the opportunityto replicate internal wincc tags of two redundant servers only. For this reason youwill find for each internal tag the check box "Tag synchronization" in dialog "tag properties". For external tags the check box "Tag synchronization" is disabled." I have a redundant system (2XCPU414H-4), and I need to monitor it form two separate PC (WinCC RT). The compete system shold offer redundancy as: - one of the PLC fails (done with H system); - one of the FO paths fails (the comm path ethernet it cabled twice); - one of the PC fails (I should be able to see the proces from the other PC). From the WinCC point of view I have the following questions: - since I will only have two PC (client not server) with WinCC RC+RT, can I sync continously the two PC with WinCC Redundancy? As ateam mentioned in his post can I use WinCC Redundancy for this (process and internal tags) ? Only one license of WinCC Redundancy is enough fot my application? Where to find all the detailes about WinCC Redundancy (delivery pack contents) ? Thank you very much. |
