Hello everyone,

i'm using TIA Portal V15.1 with s7-1200 and comfort panel TP1200 and have issues with I/O field.

When I enter a value in the field, it won't write in the DB Variable I gave to this object. But when I write directly in the DB adresse a random value, the same I/O field display this value, like it's in "read" only.

This problem appears when I modify the range value of the HMI address (axis positioning that I want to restrain the value entered by a production operator). When I have adjusted the range and upload the modifications to the HMI, without nothing else modified than the range, the I/O field act like described above.

To fix the problem, i have to remove the I/O fields, place another fields and configure them in the same way as before. But I can't explain myself why i can display the value forced in the PLC, but can't enter a value in the HMI and DB value doesn't change at all.

Do someone have explanation and a better way to fix it ?

 I changed the range and the value i try to enter after that is in the range and i don't get any alarm or anything else.

When i put a value and go to another screen and go back, the value is reset to the precedent value.

For exemple, I force 200 in the DB, it display 200 on the screen, then i try to put 300, press enter and go to another screen, the value will return to 200 and the DB value doesn't change at all

Please check DB, do you see the column "Writable from HMI"?

this description sounds like you didn't rebuild all before downloading. Please Compile with the option "Software (rebuild all)" and the download the application again.

this description sounds like you didn't rebuild all before downloading. Please Compile with the option "Software (rebuild all)" and the download the application again.
