i think that repeater don't receives the signal from the PLC

PEDRO R Posts: 43 Rating: (0)	hi UMENCHO, i solved the problem with the rectifiers and inverters, now the problem is the next: the connector profibus have the output two cable: one go to the inversor 1--> rectifier one --> rectifier two ---> inverter two, the other cable go to one repeater but the first led don't turn on, i think that repeater don't receives the signal from the PLC, what do you think? thank for you help....!!!! PEDRO R Posts: 43 Rating: (0)	the led won't turn on is of the repeater where receives the signal from the PLC, the first led in the top, the SF an BF, always been turn on, since the power house came the factory from china.

Take a look atWhat should you watch out for when using the RS485 repeater in PROFIBUS and MPI bus systems?There are mentioned the basic rules. Then in most of cables the wires are red and green. Green wire is connected to A and red to B. Check the wires from the starting point. Specially the intermediate devices - which cble is connected as input and which is output in Profibus connector. The final point is the position of resistor of Profibus connector. In case there is only input cable in connector the resistor is ON, If we have input and output resistor is OFF...
