Hello, Idownloaded thesecond option from Siemens support, suggested by Edr, to test it using PLCSIM 5.4 SP3. I triedto exchange databetween CPU 319and 315(CP343-1 Lean)using PN-IO (FC PNIO_SEND andPNIO_RECV) overfictive area, but nothing happened.I used the VAT for both CPU to monitor/modify values, but withoutsuccess ! Both CPU remain in RUN mode, without any error but I can´t see the changed data. What could be my mistake? Is possible to test it using PLCSim ? Best regards. |

Hello Denker J_Bell's advise is right on the money and you may find the FAQ below useful too (SP3's feature to allow simulation of multiple CPU's and comms between them seems to be a cause for quite some confusion): How can you simulate multiple CPU modules simultaneously and what should you watch out for? One thing to note over and top ofthis is: You MUST use the relased SFB's and can NOT use their S7-300 counterpart FB's (even though they internally use the relased SFB's they will not work to simulate comms). I hope this helps |
