hi, i try to connect in sinumerik 802d for make a backup from PLC, but i cannot connect

i have simatic field pg m4, whit two partitions on Windows xp i have the software programing tool v3.1

interface rs-485 usb to serial converted, RS-232 cable

i have followed all the recomendations like set up the COM1 in to the PG and in to software too,

 i have actívated the connection in STEP 7 (connect on)

in the software programing tool, i have set the PG/pc INTERFACE in plc802d, the baudrate is the same in both sides .

help me please
