I want to connect my Step 7 project through plcsim and nettoplc with WW Intouch

I want to connect my Step 7 project through plcsim and nettoplc with WW Intouch. My plcsim is V5.4 +SP2,so I think this is ok. I'm turning on PLCSIM and NETTOPLC and I'm clicking Start on NETTOPLC and on the window NETTOPLC I recive: PLCSim:Connected..................Client:Disconnected. In my network card I put the same adress as my CP card,except that in Set PG/PC I don’t have exact (PLCSIM) TCP/IP (from SP3), but I have PLCSIM (RFC 1006) (Assigning Parameters for a virtual dummy device which is simulated by PLCSIM for TCP-IP.). This SP3 means that PLCSIM suppose to be Service Pack 3? Can this be the problem? If this is the problem, where I can find SP3 for PLCSIM?And I think that with this nettoplc I’ll can see PLC program and Intouch program on one computer only, I don’t need two PCs, one for PLC and one for Intouch, isn’t that right? To be honest I don;t know if nettoplc supports RFC 1006 protocol. ( http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/15048962 ). And yes, you don't need second PC. Just one with installed there Intouch and Siemens software. Hope this will helps. best regards, Hristo Mihalev

In my PC network card (see attachment, I use network card:Intel(R)82566MM Gigabit Network Connection) I entered IP adress 192.168.0.1, and the same IP in my CP card in HW config in Step7, and the same adress in DASServer (see attachment). In Set PG/PC I entered PLCSIM (TCP/IP) once and other time I still recive on the window NetToPLC: PLCSIM:Connected....Client:Disconnected! What other things to try? What makes the connection between NettoPLC and Intouch? Is there anything to configure in NetToPLC? Or to configure in DASServer? So in your client Software (SCADA/HMI/OPC) you have set the IP address of the PLC to the IP address of the network interface of the PLCSim computer, or set the IP of your network interface to the IP your PLC will later have. NetToPLCSim don't cares about the rack/slot specifications, and handles a max. PDU size of 960 bytes. In your case IP address of CPU is 192.168.0.1 . Also in PC network card put 192.168.0.1 . And then just start nettoplcsim. Check if port 102 is not blocked by firewalls or antivirus program. Best rgeards, Hristo Mihalev

Anyway open command prompt, type in “netstat -an” and it will show you the “listening” ports . In DASSIDIRECT server did you assign DEVICE Groups and then in Maker to connect it with access name? Also did you activate DASSIDIRECT Server? Basically these are necessaries settings. Activate PLCSIM then Viewer and then click on nettoplcsim connect. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Here somewhere I supose to see it? My DASServer (Device Group and Maker-Access Names)is configured, because I'm traing this on a application that already works in a real time. I just wanted to try NetTOPLC, but without success. Maybe I'm using worn NetTOPLC? I don't know anymore. Look at http://nettoplcsim.sourceforge.net/index.htm About port 102 I don't see in list. If you start PLCSIM and Viewer , then click connect in nettoplcsim in this list after execution of command you should see IP address :102 listening. On Monday if you still don't have success, I'll install Intouch software and will try to explain all steps better then now. Good luck! Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Here in attach I'm sending you the list with port from command promt (this is ok, I think) In the next mail I'll send to you a screen shot of alarm page that I made from my application. You can see that the alarms are shown and for the database says:Connected (This says that my Dasserver configuration is ok).
