I want to use one of the identical S7-315 2 PN/DP as PROFIBUS master, and the other two as PROFIBUS slaves, on the same network

Hello! I have a similar situation, with two identical S7-315 2 PN/DP and an old S7-315 DP. What I want is to use one of the identical S7-315 2 PN/DP as PROFIBUS master, and the other two as PROFIBUS slaves, on the same network. I want to use the master as a gateway to the other PLCs (ethernet to PROFIBUS), so that I can download SDB\Program to them, from the master (over ethernet). This was easy to accomplish with the master to the old S7-315 DP, but Im really struggling with getting this to work with the S7-315 2 PN/DP. Everytime I want to download to the S7-315 PN/DP, I dont get the choice of using the master as a gateway. Splitted from S7-400 as IE/PB gateway . |
