Hi to all, I have a problem. I wanted to conect PLC and 2 RIOs. Because the distance between then is >800m, I wanted to conect them through FO. I put in RIOs IM 153-2 FO, but then I saw that the max distance for them is 300m (with some special cables). Now I have to choose another solution to my problem. I saw these PROFIBUS OLM G11 and G12. But now I'm not sure, which IM should I have, to make this conection. Maybe my picture in attach says more. Or should I choose another PLC and RIOs? Can I use the PROFIBUS interface from the PLC after to conect to a switch (Profibus/ethernet)? Or the best solution is to choose IMs with ethernet interface and through switches (ethernet to FO) to go through long distances? Thanks in advance AttachmentPLC with 2xRIO.pdf (35 Downloads) |
