ssssaaaaeeeedddd Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear I have a Notebook without serial232 port, I wont to use an USB to RS232 converter to connect the MPI pc adapter232 to program Simenens S7300. Is possible or there are problems with this solution. 1- i have aS7MPI/DP_PC_ Adapter_RS232 cable6es7 972-oca23-oxa0. and 2- i have aUSB_to_RS232_converter cable U232-P9. 3-On Notebook I have Win Xp pro SP3 4- seting is baud-rate: 19200 8bit stop bit:1 parity:non flow control:non for com15. 5-at PC/PG_set acept the com15 then start network detection . it blankerrorthe bus parametr could not be determinedbecuse communicationerroroccured. best regards saeed maghami Attachment rs232-to usb converter.jpg (299 Downloads)
