Morning All!
I would like to use the GET instruction in an S7-1200 to get some data from an S7-1200 PLC that is in another project. Is this possible?

I've tried creating the S7 connection myself making the remote partner Unknown and manually updating the simatic-acc address to the connectionID on the other PLC e.g. SIMATIC-ACC10001
But I just can get the two to talk.

Any help appreciated or alternative solutions.

 hi,

you have to project an unspecified connection to the IP of the other CPU. In the other CPU you have to allow the access with PUT/GET in the CPU-properties.

You need only the connection on the one PLC where you use the PUT/GET-blocks.
