Identifying comms loss

MatJ Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	I am programming the S7-1200 for the first time (have used S7-300 and S7-400 many times before) and need to program a function that can identify when communications is lost between the S7-1200 CPU and its connected HMI device. This in turn will trigger an alarm in the CPU, which in turn illumintaes a lamp on a control panel. Can anyone offer any advice on the best way to go about this for this system? I have had a rake around the various features and functions with no luck so far! Cheers!
