Hello, The CP343-1EX11 supports maximum 16 S7 connections. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/8777308 You can use the S7-300 Station as Client station for S7 communication. It establishes the S7 connections to the IM151-8 CPUs andcollects the data from your IM151-8 CPUs with the PUT and GET function blocks. So the IM151-8 CPU acts as server for S7 connections. The CPU 317-2PN/DP supports 32 instances. That means 32 PUT/GET function blocks. With PUT/GET support max. 160Byte data transfer. With BSEND/BRECV 32kByte are possible. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/12996906 Another possibility open communication via Industrial Ethernet with ISO-on-TCP, TCP or UDP.
