IEC61850 WITH CP343-1

IT4Industry (a Siemens division that develops protocols for the A&D division) proposes one solution for PCS 7 and a CP 443-1: http://www.industry.siemens.com/industrial-services/it/en/PRODUCTS/SIMATIC_ADD_ONS/S7_IEC61850.HTM Maybe you could approach our resident IT4Industry expert, Wüstenräuber, about it. (The library therefore is available in two different compilations) • S7 300 (Lib_PCS7_v71_IEC61850_Client_300_B_V_X_Y) • S7 mEC (Lib_PCS7_v71_IEC61850_Client_400_B_V_X_Y) • S7 400 (Lib_PCS7_v71_IEC61850_Client_400_B_V_X_Y) • S7-400H CPU (Lib_PCS7_v71_IEC61850_Client_400_B_V_X_Y) For communication over Ethernet it is required to use either: • CP 343-1EX11 V2.6 Ethernet CP (or higher) or S7 300, S7 CPU with PN-IO interface • CP 443-1EX11 V2.6 Ethernet CP (or higher) or S7 400 CPU, mEC with PN-IO interface S7 300 CPU restrictions: Alarm and reporting functionality is not supported by S7 300 CPU. Because of this, IEC_ALARM AND IEC_REP blocks are not delivered with S7 300 Lib (Lib_PCS7_v71_IEC61850_Client_300_B_V_X_Y).
