Dear All, We want to communciate Fluke meter 8845A with IM 151-8 PN/DP CPU. Please find the attached technical detail of Meter which we want to communicate with IM 151-8 PN/DP CPU. Thanks a lot My friend. I have gone through it already. But I am not getting will it support any how to IM 151-8 to get data from it? Can you please help me out in this case? |

Hello guys; Marko's suggestion will work with most serial buses and Ethernet links. But I doubt it would be useful in this case. GPIB uses a 24-pin connector that carries an 8-bit parallel signal which needs a signal analyser to display. Have a look at the following information on IEEE-488: http://www.tscm.com/ieee-488.pdf As I pointed out befre, I do not believe any PLC manufacturer has implemented IEEE-488 communications on their CPUs. If any new development has been done to set it up on a PLC, I would be interested in hearing about it. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
