Hi Sorry, but it is being confusing to see a lot of topics from you about the same matterunder different topics. Please concentrate them in only one When you say "documentation about SCADA" it seems you want to know the basics: what a Scada does, what are the components and functionalities needed and so on. In this case there are a lot of books you can buy, like this one dedicated for Substation automationhttp://www.nettedautomation.com/books/sa-book.html For substations, as Daniel explained here /tf/WW/en/Posts/99376#topboth products are suitable, and the difference is that PCS7/WinCC/S7 are "generic" products, normally used in industrial automation and can also be applied for substation. Sicam products are dedicated for substations and power plants, they have functions not available in Simatic world, like power quality or fault records retrieval and managemet and could also be used for automation. Sicam PAS has a fully functional demo version which works for 3 hours, after that you have to reboot the system. Before you ask, nobody can send you links to payed software from Siemens. There are export regulations that must be observed and if the software is not on an official website from Siemens, please contact your local Siemens partner to get the demo. Mike |
