[IHM DEVICE] How 'Focus' on a Types of the project library

ASI_ab Posts: 41 Rating: (3)	hello, For a barcode reader, i need select specific I/O field. In general script i do: [code] HmiRuntime.Screens("xxxxxxxxxxxx").ScreenItems("xxxxxxxxxxx").Activate [/code] I can't do that in a 'Type' of my 'Project library'. I can't write 'HmiRuntime', not 'Screens', or not 'ScreenItems'. Ave you got any tips ? ^{_{For standard technical service :}} ^{_{HMI : TP700 confort Soft : TIA Portal V12 SP1 Upd3 OS :WinXP 4Go ram}} ^{_{PC is connected to a standard}}^{_{electrical outlet and is power on}}

K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello, Scripting in faceplates is differentfrom scripting in general script. you can find some information in followingfaq, number 5 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/85239213 for an example of script in faceplates see number 1 K!ke

K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	If iofield is in the faceplate this is not possible, just thought you'd like to focus on a io field on the screen. Why do you need to focus on this io-field? do you like to change the content in script? this would be possible in script of faceplate...

ASI_ab Posts: 41 Rating: (3)	I ave usb barcode reader When i scan a code, the reader simulate puch on keybord and finish with the enter key. If i'm not in the IO field, the code was not written. (in case I focus a button, simulating the Enter key by the barcode reader causes the button action).

With the function "ActivateScreen" you can open the screen with faceplate and withthe parameter "object number"activate your faceplate. The I/O-field has to be first object in faceplate (when creating the faceplate insert this iofield first) K!ke
