iIs it necessary to set (panel PC 670) PC\PG interface before connecting to S7-300

kthioune Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	hi everybody i am configuring a panel PC 670 to connect it to a S7-300. before connecting to S7-300 via MPI , is it necessary to configure panel PC interface ? in my case , its CP5611. see attached in pictures the configuration already done in step7 an winCC flexible Attachment E:\config.zip (59 Downloads)

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello kthioune, to make a connection between Panel PC and S7-300 over MPIpossible, the interface of both modulesmust be "MPI". For the S7-300, he set up is in HW_Config, for the Panel PC and the Engineering PC it is in "Set PC/PG interface...". Greetings, Pittiplatsch
