IM-151-3 PN HF & TIA Portal

Thread Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Good evening can I use6ES7151-3AA23-0AB0 CPU with TIA Portal? I cannot find it in the "Add new device" window. I found it only in the Catalog to add in the hardware configuration. best regads

For a classic CPU I click on "Add new device", I select the correct CPU and TIA Portal create the structure to develop the software & bla bla bla. I don't find the IM-151-3 when I click on "Add new device". TIA Portal V11 SP2 Update 5 Opt Safety Advanced V11

If you have a CPU with PROFINET interface, go to the network view and from hardware catalog from right side and ditributed I/O folder find the module you want and insert it in the "Network Editor" window by drag and drop and connect the interface. Hello, Normally we "Distributed I/Os" for connecting input and output modules to the main CPU via interfaces (in your case PROFINET).You can find easily all manuals related to this product by simply right click on the module in the hardware catalog and select "Product Support Information".In the result page you have options for downloads, updates,FAQ and Manuals you may need. For further process the module, double click on it in the network view and see what you can edit it with available modules in its category. Best regards Hamid Hosseini
