IM151-7 / 313C-2DP data transfert

allayahassine Posts: 133 Rating: (0)	Hello, I want to transfert three boolean data and one REAL data from IM151-7 to 313C-2DP: E 9.0 --> M 0.0 E 9.1 --> M 0.1 E 9.2 --> M 0.2 MD 0 --> MD 164 How can I edit that in OB 35 (cyclic interrupt) of both IM151-7 (sender) and 313C-2DP (receiver) ? thanks!!

allayahassine Posts: 133 Rating: (0)	I have already the ma-nual, but myIM151-7 is a master, as well as 313C-2DP. this case of master / master communication is not mentioned in the manual.

If you have MPI connection between this CPU, it is easy to do with X-PUT and X-GET System functions. But MPI is always very slow, no need to do communication in OB35, you can use OB1 as well.

If your network is profibus, then follow IBN sugession by using X-Put and X-Get functions. No need for programming in OB35. Why do you want to put these values in a cyclic interrupt OB?

Hello, All what you stated are not good reason to use OB35. If you would like to detect any tiny changes, and put your code in OB35, then you will execute the code in OB35 cyclically in accoding to cyclic time of OB35 as per your settings in HW config. Otherwise, if it is made in OB1, Once the scan cycle finish, a new scan cycle will start and so on. And if your program is not too large to make scan cycle > cyclic time of OB35, then you may execute the codes in OB1 more than one time -may be tens- before calling OB35 for next time. Hope this helps.
