IM151-8 CPU ring topology

AndreyCh Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a system with one im151-8 cpu (6ES7 151-8AB01-9AB0) and few ET200S IO (6ES7 151-3AA23-0AB0). I've configured MRP topology, assigned partners for each port. I've assigned roles for im151-8 as manager and 151-3 as clients. Everything is ok. But when I turn off one of the et200s im, I lost half of the et200s im, connected between second port of im151-8 cpu and break of the ring. It looks like only one port of the im151-8 can connect 151-3 and ring doesn't work. Why does it happen? What did I wrong? I've attached pictures with topology editor online when everything is ok and when one of the 151-3 was turned off. Attachment pic.zip (74 Downloads)

Use a X208 Switch asRedundant Ring Manager, not the IM151-8. AssignPorts 4 and Port 8 in the HW configuration of the 208X as your Redundant Ring Ports for the ET200S I/O. Use Port 1 of X208 as connection to the IM151-8 Assign it in IM151-8PN-IO under Media Reduncency tab as "not node in ring" Regards / m.f.g

I thought that there was any special parameters that should be configured except MRP domain and roles. Should I configure boundaries checkboxes in properties of the nodes? Any parameters on the Synchronization tab in the properties window?
