We have one PLC IM151-8PN/DP which is frequently going in STOP mode. Whenever PLC is in run mode and I try to go online with my laptop the PLC immediately switches to STOP mode. the Diagnostic buffer file is attached. what could be the probable reason. Can someone help me in analysing this problem.

Hello COOLRAJ Tomcatis correct, FB49 and DB49 are missing from the PLC (gut feeling tells me that they are used for Report system Error and while they are automatically created they still need to be downloaded). The root cause that leads to the call of the (non-existing) FB49/DB49 seems to be a (short lived?)failure of a Profinet I/O station though. Event 10 to4in your Diag buffer all relate to OB122 I/O access error, followed by a "return to healthy"of the Profinet I/O station which is registered bya call to OB86 (event 3). I wonder if you either "upset" the Ethernet somehow when you plug your Laptop into the network (e.g. loose Plug in the switch, poor Profinetcable connection in Plug etc.) or if your Laptop perhaps hasthesame IP address as the I/O station? Food for thought and I hope this helps |
