IM153-2DP 153-2AA02-0XB0 with E-Stand 7 within a redundand system

Import-User-1 Gold Member Joined: 8/10/2005 Last visit: 2/7/2022 Posts: 3609 Rating: (28)	Import of a Technical Question of an User zonouzi dear sir when I use the followings for software redundancy v1.2 with S7-5.4 SP3 HF1 and latest HW catalog update from the Internet: 1-IM153-2 DP 153-2AA02-0XB0 with E-STAND 7, for I/O racks 2-2 CPU 315-2DP 315-2AG10-0AB0 firmware v2.0.5, 2nd port as master for I/O connections 3-CP-342-5 firmware 5.7 coupling the 2 CPU and a FDL connection with AG-300 functions I get the following issues: 1-by switching the master from RUN to STOP mode, switching from master to standby is possible, but after this, the master doesn't come back in RUN mode, and the SF red LED get lit. 2-in OB1 after calling SWR-ZYK FB101, the condition in the jump instrunction get sometimes TRUE and sometimes FALSE, in situation that it should be constantly FALSE in 'A' station and TRUE in 'B' station, of course in normal situation. A DB403.DBX 9.1 JC m001 but when I use E-STAND 13 for IM153-2DP all the faults disappear, and the software redundancy works as expected. I have not heard about the E-STAND dependency of software redundancy. If it exists, please show me its documentation.

The SWR manual for V1.2 as well as it's release note also state that the 6ES7153-2AA02-0XB0 as of release 2 and highercan be used. As such I wonder if the problem is perhaps caused by your 315's CPU firmware. You are running2.0.5 andthere have been a fair few firmware relases containing afair few bugfixes (latest one is V2.6.11 and can be found HERE). As such,I wouldn't exclude the possibilitythatyour "old" firmware CPU only "misbehaves" when used in combination with the SWR Blocks and IM153-2 release7. I know I'm speculating here, but it wouldn't hurt to test this and please keep us posted about the esult. I hope this helps

zonouzi Experienced Member Joined: 10/10/2007 Last visit: 9/21/2022 Posts: 46 Rating: (0)	Dear Fritz, I have replaced one CPU with firmware 2.6.9. But no success, as I had access to this CPU. With previous configuration, replacing IM E-Stand 7 with E-Stand 10, 12, 13, everything work fine. Even I tested a combination of two CPU with different firmware, 2.0.5 and 2.6.9, or diferrent IM as following, and everything is working fine. Just E-Stand 7 is not working as expected. rack 1- IM 2AA02 both E-Stand 13 rack 2- IM 2BA02 rack 3- IM 2AA02 both E-Stand 10 I can't explain how it is working, so I can't understand why, but I was lucky to find out that it should be the reason. best regards, K.Zonouzi Ahmad

Theymayevencome up with solution that neither you nor me nor anyone else who read your thread have thought about and if notwill (or should) atleastbe thankful for pointing the issueoutto them.
