IM153-4PN problem when import a new analog Card

autom Posts: 89 Rating: (1)	Hello Guys, As you can see at the attathmentat at he place 11 i try to put an analog card AI8x13Bit(6es7 331-1kf01-0ab0). The AI8 card works fine but when iput it at the rack, all the rack is in failure and i can see it over ethernet. Why tha happens?? The only thing idid was to put at HW the new AI card and download the new HW. Attachment ET200 Problem.JPG (70 Downloads)

How do you judge that AI8 card works fine when it's outside rack? Install the module in rack, Download new HW configuration then check the online diagnostics of hardware modules when you havean error. In hardware configuration window, Station>Open ONLINE and double click on IM153-4 then tell us the information there. Best regards. H-H

Because i put the AI8 card in another racket200, in profibus and works fine. and when i download the new HW configuration the info was tha the module (IM153-4PN) not available. So it was very queered for me such behavior. Best regards.

autom Posts: 89 Rating: (1)	Hello H-H , I saw the IO device diagnostics but i didn't take print screens. The thing that i remeber and i am sure for that, is that the IM153-PNwas not available at all andall the ledsof IM153-PNwas on(fatal error). Unfortunatelly i can't do again the same experimentand print the diagnostics, because the factory is 24hours the day in operation. The only 2 things that is in my mind for that error but not for sure, is: 1. The power consumption of the rack. (i use 10A siemens power Supply for that rack). 2. Because at the end of the rack i use 2 64 DO cards. ( at IM153-PNi can use 12 cards. Is it possible1 64 DO card to count as 2 cards??? But as i saw in the manual 1 64 DO card count as 1).
