By the way: using the ET200M in a redundant Profinet system means that we have to install 2 couplers per node, as for Profibus DP, am I right? Regards, J. |

No. You can use6ES7153-4BA00-0XB0. Only one module will support redundnacy from two CPUs. Cost wise, it is good. specially if you have a lot of racks. But in the avilability point of view, it is too bad. As in case of a fault in this module, the whole rack will be off. Hope this helps.

Hello, H-CPUs with Profinet capabilities have been already released one month ago. Here's bellow the new CPUs:
And by using one of the above CPUs, then you can work with IM6ES7153-4BA00-0XB0instead of using two IM153-2BA02 (RED BUNDLE). please read my previous post here. In fact the above new CPUs are released from 5/4/2012. I am not sure if their prices is available now in CA01 or not. Hope thsi helps. |
