Import HW configuration from Siematic manager to TIA selection tool

Hello,

is there a way to import HW configuration from Siematic manager to TIA selection tool?

how to update the TIA selection tool hardware catalog because I can't find all the modules?

Hi,

you can import and export the HW configuration to the SIMATC Manager (Step7 classic).

Just switch in the TIA Selection Tool to "Project View" (Link in lower left corner). Now select in the main menu "Project folder" and select "Import" or "Export" and choose "Step7 classic (HW config)".

The TIA Selection Tool will ask for an update if a new version is available. You can switch the "automatic update" on or off in the menu "Options/Settings".
