Improving Quality of Posts.

For all thread starters, before asking questions you have to do your homework by searching for a solution here or on any other search engin. When you decide to publish your question here, you will found in the upper part two red lines "Please use the search for FAQs and already existing forum threads, before creating a new thread." Otherwise, some people won't answer these type of questions, some other will google it for you This behaviour,May be helpful, but not necessary as you can do this step yourself. Then if you could not found a solution, please let us know where is exactly the point that you need help in. Please do not make these type of general questions because, to answer the above question, it will take a lot of posts, many of them will be not helpful for you and others, and nobody can change order of the thread posts according to how much the post is helpful. Give your question at a certain point. Do not make questions like the followings: What is PLC? What is Automation? Where I put my mobile phone??? And finally, all of us will be glad to answer all the questions and we are happy to do it. But I was careing about forum quality.

Same topic with Questions re-phrased slightly differently give very different results. - Use of Logical operators in Search ( As in Google ) line + , - or AND OR etc using multiple keywords - "Exclude" option - e.g. if someone is not interesed in Updates and only wants FAQs + Forum Hope this helps Cheers Navnag - -

My suggestion,Why people who run this forum do not want to use this potential in correct way.This attention from this number of participant is wonderful.But the outcome will be complains and anguish about quality even month after the campaign. Personally, I had a great experience with issuing a topic in "STEP 7/STEP 7 Lite" conference about "SIMATIC Timers versus IEC Timers". The feedback from users was really impressive.Everyday,I print the new posts, read all, test and write some thing about it.I learn a lot by detailed and impressive works of my friends on that issue.I think, it is a perfect way of contribution in the forum for future. and my final note, Quality of posts directly related to the governing rules even in a process control "governing rules of process" returns the feedback to PID controllers.

We discussed last year too, reply should only be if we can add something, there is no point to reply same with change in words Moderators don't like to delete these posts - they are saying that they don't want to do much editorial work - I think, there should be discussion onthis kind of posts reported, and delete if require, merge if its divided in 2-3 posts, that will help to users who is searching some posts
	I dont Like people driving Fast, thats the reason I overtake them ;)

But you cannot change People mentality and those worng doers. This is not goning to happen for another next five campagin untill some serious actions from mod's which is not happening till date. I am really sorry for that and as result i feel that we can keep quite & watch the show. Anyway it is only matter of two days.

This suspicious behaviour happens when there is a campaign running, so everyone is racing for the premiums no matter what it takesand that certainly degrades the quality of the forum. This is according to the person's common sense which drives him either to post quality posts or to post useless and foolish posts. I think there must be some serious actions from the moderators by cacelling points from users who do that sort of things or by any other punishment methods. This behaviour will put a burden on the person who searches a specific answer, that he will have to go through all this "chatterbox posts" to reach his goal. This wastes valuable time

I hope that these type of questions are real and not fake. As it is noticed that these questions is being asked during only campaign.
